Lenten Reflection Day 16: Jeremiah 17:10

Listen here:

“I the Lord test the mind

and search the heart,

to give to all according to their ways,

according to the fruit of their doings.” (Jeremiah 17:10)

Reflection:

We can hide what is in our hearts from others, but God’s reach goes beyond our intentions. That notion is unsettling to some, and to others, it brings peace.

Safe to say, our actions have consequences. Lent is a moment to prayerfully reflect in our ways and doings—a chance to ask the Holy Spirit to guide us in changing our lives as necessary.

Today’s Intention:

“God, grant us the courage to change our ways. Bless our doings so they may produce this Lenten season fruit filled with your love.

Peace and Goodness
