“My sacrifice, O God, is a contrite spirit;
a contrite, humbled heart, O God, you will not scorn.” Psalm 51:19
Reflection:
If nothing else, Lent is the realization that God is always there to forgive us.
Most of us become the prodigal child at some point in our lives (see Luke 15:11-32). We think that we know what is best and walk away from God’s love. As a result, we place ourselves in sinful situations. The good news is that when we show humble repentance and atonement for our sins, God showers us with divine mercy.
Today’s Intention:
“O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You, please have mercy on me.”
Peace and Goodness
