While attending mass today, I couldn’t get my eyes off of the poinsettia plants adorning the pulpit. Their red and green foliage were majestic and full of splendor; a tiny sample of God’s glory. They were a soothing antidote to the 20 degree weather outside the church. I would have taken a picture of them, but I forgot my phone in the car. However, they are imprinted in my heart. I can’t stop thinking about them and how much they lifted my spirits. I have had a big smile on my face all day long. Experiencing them today was my Magi gift from God; they were my epiphany.
