My kids are getting ready for tomorrow’s Magi celebration. Even though Santa Claus paid them a visit on Dec. 25, tomorrow’s Three Kings or Los Reyes Magos  Celebration holds a special meaning in their hearts too. In addition to its religious significant, Feast of the Epiphany, this occasion honors our family Latino heritage.

Growing up in Puerto Rico, Los Reyes Magos celebrations were one of my happiest moments. All the children would come outside to play and celebrate with each other. It was a community event.

Today our children will gather grass for the camels and place it in a box along with water. A simple gesture with great privileges.

Feliz Dia de los Reyes Magos
